Management is well aware that some of the production activities carried out involve hazardous substances and chemical-physical processes, to which are associated major incident risks.
The 96/82/EC and 2012/18/EU European Directives adopted in Italy through the issuing of numerous laws aimed at preventing the occurrence of major incidents, concern Azotal’s storage of anhydrous ammonia (used as a raw material) and ammonia in aqueous solution (finished product). To guarantee the safety of the production processes and to comply with the numerous laws in this area, Azotal has equipped itself with Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
